Homework - 9/23/2016

Continue the technical part of our work by practicing the 1-2-3-4 (almost chromatic) warmup as well as the minor pentatonic exercise. Those of you who did not establish a baseline metronome tempo with me today will do so on Monday. If you haven't already done so, download the Pro Metronome app.

Homework - 9/16/2016

Using a metronome, practice the two warmup exercises that we've worked on in class (the 1-2-3-4 almost chromatic one, and the minor pentatonic one). Work to maintain even rhythm and a consistent sound. Only play it as fast as you can while staying locked in with the metronome.

During class on Friday September 23, you will have your first playing assessment during which we will establish your 'baseline' metronome tempo which we will then use to measure progress as the trimester unfolds.
